Since 2001, Daniel Rich Galinson has served as a national account executive with Solutran, a fintech company located in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul suburb of Plymouth, Minnesota. To augment his professional endeavors, Daniel Rich Galinson holds an official AAP (accredited automated clearing house professional) designation through Nacha (formerly the National Automated Clearinghouse Association).

The APP designation is open to any ACH (automated clearing house) professional with at least a year of full-time experience in the payments industry. However, Nacha recommends that candidates work in payments for 2 years or more to ensure that they are ready to take the APP exam. This comprehensive exam covers ACH products, operational processes, technical standards, official regulations, risk management, marketing, and customer service.

After passing the exam to earn the designation, ACH professionals must remain up to date with the rapidly evolving electronic payments field if they want to maintain a valid APP. This means either retaking the APP exam or garnering 60 hours of relevant continuing education credit every 5 years.
